Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Provide Tier 2 IT support.
  2. Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other organizational systems.
  3. Install and troubleshoot printers and scanners.
  4. Assist with troubleshooting and providing support to users.
  5. Organize and maintain IT resources and inventory.
  6. Assist in performing hands-on fixes of desktop and laptop computers, including installation and upgrades of software and general systems installations.
  7. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, or a related field; experience in managing an Information Technology operation is required.
  2. At least 1 year experience in the field of information technology.
  3. Knowledge of system development methods used for the development of new systems and enhancements to existing information systems.
  4. Knowledge of computer monitoring systems, vendor-supplied packaged programs, macros, utilities, and other highly technical programs.
  5. Ability to gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and suggest solutions.
  6. Ability to use programming procedures and techniques in the implementation of computer programs.

  1. Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  2. Knowledge of Local Language preferred.
  3. Demonstrated competency in public speaking.


Computer Skills:

  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Outlook/Exchange, Windows operating systems, Power Point.
  2. Other software routinely used by Heartland Alliance.
